Let me ask you this: would you be offended if someone called you ‘clueless’?
I think most people would be offended, but what if it IS true though?
Just saying, lol!
The truth is, far too many people are clueless about various things, big and small, like: politics, money, the state of the nation, world population, the solar system, the ozone layer, how microwave devices work, the fact that Africa is not a country – the list is endless.
However, it is even more dangerous to be clueless about things like: who we are, why we are here, where we are headed, and what to do get there. Apparently, a good number of the world’s population suffer from this malaise!
One would think there really is no excuse to be clueless, not when there is so much information at our fingertips these days, thanks to technology and social media. Yet, some people continue to be clueless, even though they claim to have a desire to remedy the situation.
I used to be in that number. There was a time in my life when I too was clueless – I knew what I wanted, but I was clueless about how to get it. I was mostly unhappy with my life, especially with those areas of my life that failed to meet up with my own high expectations.
What helped me was, I did a Shine-Assessment, which is like a personal ‘dig-deep’ exercise. I asked myself certain key questions, and I gave some brutally honest answers. This led me to become more intimate with myself, and I then received clarity to start living my life more purposefully! Ahh, HOW I WISH I’D KNOWN TO DO THIS MUCH EARLIER!
Failure might be part of the human experience, but as someone once said, by failing to plan, we are infact planning to fail. Why live life in a perpetually ‘misinformed’ state, when the information that can change your life is within your reach? In my book, that is foolishness, and it comes with a costly price tag too!
This is why in this week’s Capsule, I’m sharing some key questions which I hope will provoke honest self-analysis for you, or for someone you know (so please feel free to share).
“When people have not learned to interpret the past, to read the present; and to imagine and empower the future, they are living a life without a punchline, clueless about the story they are embarked upon.” ― Erik Pevernagie
What has Myles Munroe got to do with this week’s Shine-Capsule?
You’ll have to listen to find out!
“Clueless does not mean useless, The Creator calls you blessed. Just go on and do your best, I’m sure He’ll handle the rest!”
